At the start of the game we will set a buy-out fee (normally at the level of the maximum you’ve indicated you want to spend) and that stops the game. If you want to force yourself to go through with it, we’ll set the buy-out figure higher at the start. It may come down to how much a good night’s sleep is worth to you ….
Oh, and in case you’re wondering, the sleepless night is something that you will do entirely to yourself. It will be that moment in the middle of the night when you lie there and think – “My God! What have I done??? What if she presses me for more and more cash and really does go ahead and publish it if I refuse???” And then by a strange alchemy you’ll find that you are getting hard at the thought, and you’ll slide back down into the rabbithole of fear and desire that only blackmail can bring …
